He was also elected by the [[Registrar Stakeholder Group]] as member of the [[GNSO]] Council in August 2012 during the [[ICANN 45|45th (Toronto)]] ICANN meeting. Since 2013, he is also the Vice-Chair of the GNSO Council. He continues to be active in ICANN policy development in various working groups as well in his GNSO councillor capacity.
