Will Shorter is the Senior Manager of Product Management for Verisign.
Career History
Shorter worked as technical support staff at Network Solutions from 1999 to 2000. He joined Verisign in 2001 as a Customer Service Supervisor. His job was primarily focused on providing technical integration and implementation support for IDN registrars under the .com and .net domain space. He also trained team members, developed knowledge base technical support documentation, and managed DNS services. He was the team expert on Shared Registration Systems and Internationalized Domain Names, and was the primary author of Verisign's EPP Reference Manual. He is also a member of the Software Developers Consortium.[1]
ICANN Involvement
Shorter is an active participant in ICANN. He is a member of the RySG of the GNSO, member of the joint ccNSO-GNSO IDN (JIG) Working Group, Internationalized Registration Data (IRD) WG, and IDN Guidelines Review Committee.[2] [3]
