Xavier J. Calvez is the current Chief Financial Officer of ICANN. He was appointed by the ICANN Board on September 17, 2011.[1]
Career History
Prior to joining ICANN, Calvez worked for Technicolor as Chief Financial Officer of the company's Network Services Division. He served the company for nine years. Calvez has an extensive experience in finance and corporate management for both domestic and international corporations. He has a reputation in the financial industry as an effective chief finance office capable of implementing strategies that will boost the profitability of a company. He is expert in strategic planning, financial reporting and modeling, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions,management dashboard and finance systems implementation.[2] [3]
Calvez has also worked for KPMG (France), Deloitte and Inter-M Corporation.[4]
Education
Calvez holds a degree in Finance & Accounting from Université de Bretagne Occidentale, and a Masters in Business, Finance & Accounting from Université du Maine. He is an Expert Compatable Memorialiste (equivalent to CPA in the United States), and is fluent in English and French.
