Alberto Soto is the Chair for LACRALO and has held that position since March 2014. He has also been the Director of the Instituto Iberoamericano de Investigacion para la Sociedad de la Informacion since 2005, where he works with ICANN's regional At-Large groups.[1] He has over ten years of experience in leadership roles, and with establishing and developing ethics and compliance programs with organizations such as Abbott Laboratories in Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration.[1]
Soto is a regular ICANN attendee, and as of ICANN 51 in Los Angeles, has attended more than six ICANN Meeting![2]
