Craig Goren
As CEO of Clarity, Craig is responsible for insuring that Clarity's day-to-day operations are in accordance with Clarity's high standards as well as progressing towards Clarity's long term company vision. Since founding Clarity in 1994, Craig has successfully orchestrated the growth of the company into the premier technology consulting organization it is today-consistently exceeding competitors in service, price, performance, and approach.
Craig is a recognized expert in building scalable, high-end, transactional and web-based systems. He has led hundreds of successful information technology initiatives across more than 50 companies in just about every major vertical, including financial services, computer software, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, healthcare, and technology.
Craig remains hands-on with software development and computer engineering, and still programs when he finds the time. He has spoken at dozens of different technical conferences and authored many trade journal articles-on topics as varied as The Future of Messaging to Advanced COM+ Development. Craig also authored Clarity's well regarded project methodology-the Clarity Professional Service Framework (PSF).
Prior to founding Clarity at age 24, Craig held technology and management positions with Swiss Bank Corporation, Systat, and Lante Corporation-which included playing the lead-role on his first-ever consulting project where his work was featured in Forbes magazine. Recently, Craig co-founded an electronic messaging startup, Centerpost Corporation , where for 3 years he served as President and CTO.
Craig holds a BS in Computer Science from Northwestern University and lives in the Old Town area of Chicago.
