From 1997 to 2002, Vince was President and CEO of Wizards of the Coast, where he was responsible for the overall leadership and operation of this market leading games company with a peak staff of 1800 employees and revenues of $780 million.
Prior to his tenure at Wizards, Vince was Senior Manager of Space Division Business Development at the Boeing Company from 1976 to 1995. In this period, he established an unprecedented competitive sales record winning over 90% (40 out of 42) of all bids to NASA and the United States Air Force.
Vince first began his engineering career at Boeing in 1962 and in 1969 was promoted to Principal Engineer for a number of programs including the B1 bomber, Space Shuttle, Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), military derivatives of Boeing's commercial airplanes, C-14 Advanced STOL transport and, NASA-Navy VSTOL.
Vince has a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from St. Louis University, and is a competition cross-country skier and model airplane builder and pilot.
