== Early Life ==
Early in his life, Aggrey Cyrus Kanyikwa joined the SPLA/M liberation struggle against the regime in Khartoum and participated actively in it. This conflict came to an end in 2005, when the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) was signed in the town of Naivasha, which is located in the country of [[Kenya]].

His efforts to restore peace to the region also can't be ignored, and for good reason. Aggrey Cyrus Kanyikwa is eager to light up Momori Dam so that it can provide Yei with a feasible and potentially renewable source of energy. Teak plantations in Kargulu, Kajiko, and Loka, as well as Yei, Morobo, Kajokeji, and Lainya counties and roadsides, received irrigation from the Momori Dam after it was constructed in 1942. Other tree species besides teak were also watered by the dam's waters.
