Colin Campbell received a B.A. degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto at Scarborough in 1992. 

Colin Campbell is the Founding Director of [[CIRA]] (1998), and a former Director of [[CAIP]].<ref>[[ICANN 43 Interview]]</ref> He also founded [[Tucows]] in 1998, and founded [[Hostopia]] in 2000. He acted as Hostopia's CEO until 2011, guiding it through its sale to [[Deluxe]] in 2008.
