Mr. Corwin has been vital to the success of the non-profit, [[Internet Commerce Association]]. When his contract expired at the end of 2009, the possibility of him not continuing to represent the ICA to ICANN and beyond during such a critical time for a variety of developments was labelled "disastrous".<ref>[http://www.thedomains.com/2010/01/24/internet-commerce-association-september-2006-january-2010-r-i-p/ RIP ICA- TheDomains.com]</ref> He has since returned to representing the body.
