He was also a founder of the [[.berlin]] initiative, along with [[Dirk Krischenowski]]; thus, he has been involved in the [[gNSO]] process for the approval of new [[gTLD]]s, and has been attending [[ICANN]] meetings since 2004. He (co-)founded [[dotBERLIN|.berlin]] in mid 2005, and [[.gay]] in mid 2009. [[Dotgay LLC]] plans to return 2/3 of their profits back to the gay community.
