Alireza has also been an adviser to the Supreme Council of [[ICT]] for [[ICANN]] outreach in Iran, and has been an active member of several committees engaged in the promotion of, and conducting research upon, Internet Governance in Iran.  
He is senior adviser to deputy minister of ICT and head of ICT Organization of Iran (itc.ir) to develop and enhance policies about internet resources in Iran.


In 2005, he and his colleagues translated the book called ''Internet Governance: A Grand Collaboration'' into Persian, which was published in September, 2005 in Iran.
He is attending ICANN meetings regularly and his first attendance in ICANN meetings was in Kualalumpur (July 2014 ICANN #20).
 
Alireza has background knowledge in electrical engineering and computer science, specially design and implementation of software algorithms and managing IT projects. He has broad range of expertise as a serial entrepreneur, working on some online projects including Tehran Map project (started in 2008).
 
As an active member of Internet Governance community in Iran, Alireza has worked on different research projects including IPv4 stats in Iran (2003), IPv6 Transition (2004), Cybercrime Law (2004-2005), Dispute Resolution Policies inside Iran.
