The company received and refused offers to license .ECO from both .ECO gTLD applicants, Big Room Inc. and Dot Eco LLC.  planet.ECO LLC filed Cease and Desist orders to stop the use and infringement of their .ECO Trademark.  Both companies ignored orders and pursued marketing and campaigning for .ECO and used the .ECO trademark hundreds of times in the submission of their gTLD applications.  Both companies also filed complaints for the cancellation of the .ECO trademark with the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.  planet.ECO LLC then filed an infringement case against [[Big Room Inc.]] and Dot Eco LLC on March 2, 2012.  Then later Big Room Inc. and Dot Eco LLC filed additional complaints for the cancellation of the .ECO trademark with the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board before withdrawing all filings with the exception of one, dismissed with prejudice by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
