Nomsa Muswai Mwayenga has been a Site Supervisor of FTTX Projects at Huawei Technologies since January 2016. She is also an NOC Engineer at Liquid Telecom, where she has worked since January 2010.[1][2] She has knowledge of designing and deploying networks, wireless LAN and WAN, IPv6, TCP/IP fundamentals, routing protools, switching technologies, and network security issues.[2] ICANN 55 in Marrakech, Morocco was Mwayenga's first ICANN Meeting, though she has also attended IETF.[1]
She works with the Southern African community by educating and promoting the use of the internet, as well as working on Internet related development, technology, and policy issues.[1]
She has an extensive amount of experience within the internet governance sphere, which includes but is not limited to being a Fellow at IETF, AFPIF, and ICTP.[1] She was also part of the Zimbwabwe Internet Governance Forum (ZIGF), where she participated in the taskforce that created the forum. She was also the Founder and Coordinator of the Zibabbwe Network Operations Group, ZimNOG.[1]
