.aigo was a Brand gTLD proposed by Chinese company Aigo Digital Technology in ICANN's new gTLD program.[1] It was approved for use, and the parties entered into a Registry Agreement on August 6, 2015.[2]
On March 30, 2018, ICANN sent Aigo a Notice of Breach, outlining multiple breaches of the Registry Agreement.[3] After entering arbitration to terminate the Registry Agreement, Aigo was deemed to have been in breach in May 2020[4]. Aigo failed to cure the breaches by the deadline set by the arbitrator, and ICANN initiated termination on June 25, 2020.[4]
