He is Security Advisor to the Internet Archive, Director of Information Security at 1010data, and an Affiliate at Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC). He also works on civil and criminal cases as an expert. In 2019, he will be on the faculty at the UC Berkeley I-School, grid willing.
