Rodney Bane is an actor who has helped the ICANN conference organisers. He is also a freelance graphic designer and was responsible for the official publications at the ICANN Wellington Conference.
Life as an Actor
He has been heavily involved in Wellington theatre since arriving in New Zealand in the early 1970s.
He is the co-founder of the original BATS theatre, whose varied work covered the classics to innovative and creative pieces. This was the foundation of the now professional BATS theatre.
He still actively involved in theatre in a variety of capacities. He is a director of the highly successful Kapitall Kids' Theatre, which provides work for professional actors, technicians and other practitioners, and Backyard Productions which started regular productions in 2005.[1]
