Dora Boamah is a Programme Manager in charge of Freedom of Expression at the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA). The MFWA is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation that works across West Africa to promote and defend freedom of expression (offline & online) and media development. She has been working with the organisation since 2012 and has served in different capacities and on different projects in the areas of research, communications and freedom of expression (offline and online). She has participated in the Ghana, West Africa, Africa and global IGFs where she has advocated for rights-based internet policies, and freedom of expression and privacy issues in general. She has facilitated a number of internet-related sessions and capacity building workshops for freedom of expression and other civil society organisations.
