Sibtain was an India School on Internet Governance ([[inSIG]]) fellow in 2016. He volunteered for Inter Community 2017 event in Delhi organized by [[ISOC]] Delhi Chapter. He volunteered for the India School on Internet Governance (inSIG) 2018 held in Delhi and inSIG 2019 held in Kolkata. He organized the Cloud Leadership Summit, a meetup of web hosts from India, held in Bangkok on 31 May 2019.
