Narayan Gangalaramsamy works for the Police Force of Mauritius as the Officer-In-Charge of the IT unit and Cyber Crime Investigation / Digital Forensics unit. He has been working in this position for over 25 years, where his tasks have included the implementation of computer-based projects such as fingerprinting systems, criminal databases, and management systems for vehicle tracking, fingerprinting, firearms, finances, registries, and more.
