ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]
Blanchet has held various roles in IETF. He was the co-chair of the IDN WG in the early 2000s and an IAB member. He has co-authored 17 RFCs on subjects such as internationalized domain names (IDNs, IPv6, and RDAP. He has been a member of the Root Zone Label Generation Rules Integration Panel.
