James Mitchell joined the ICANN organization in October 2020 and currently holds the title of Director, Technical Services. He acts as the Liaison from the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) to the RSSAC.[1]

Before joining ICANN, Mitchell was the Director of Domain Services for Packet Clearing House and a Product Manager at AssetOwl and Bombora Technologies.[2]
