The At-Large Community is a collection of organizations and individuals that ICANN recognizes as a gathering of input and voices concerning the interests of Internet users around the world. It is currently comprised of 230 At-Large Structures (ALSes) and 85 individual members, but their numbers continue to grow. The At-Large Community includes, for example, Internet-related consumer rights groups, academic organizations, and public-minded individuals. It is focused on furthering the development of ICTs and contributing to policies that influence the technical coordination of the Domain Name System. The aim of the At-Large Community is to ensure that the Internet serves the global public interest.[1]
