Privaterra is an organisation providing technological education and support for civil society organizations (Human Rights NGOs) in the area of data privacy, secure communications and information security.[1]
Privaterra has undertaken several field projects in Central & South America, Asia, and Africa; it is based in Canada[2]
In 2006, Privaterra applied for At-Large Structure Designation with ICANN.[3][4]
In 2002, Privaterra was a participant in the Stockholm Challenge, a contest between IT entrepreneurial projects.[5]
