She also coordinated a global research team that was dedicated to achieving a web that is safe and empowering for everyone. Catherine served as the Director of Business Process Outsourcing/Information Technology Enabled Services at Kenya's Ministry of ICT, in addition to serving as founder and CEO of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority.
