'''ICANN 16''' was held in Rio De Janeiro, [[Brazil]] in March 2003. It was the first [[ICANN]] meeting to be held in Brazil. All meetings were free to attend for any interested person, land like previous ICANN events, a webcasting and Remote participation service was available for persons, who were unable to make the event.
The Meetings commenced on Sunday 23rd March, with various managerial meetings, and was closed on Thursday 27th March with the [[ICANN Board]] meeting.
