Carlton Soogrim (Republic of Trinidad & Tobago) is a corporate consultant and economist. He has over twenty-three years experience working for three major international banks in mergers, acquisitions, and takeovers, spanning both the public and private sector.[1]

Soogrim graduated from the University of Maryland. He is a former subject head of economics at University of the West Indies School of Business. He is also involved with the South School of Internet Governance, the Caribbean Telecommunications Union, and WIPO.
