Michael Stewart is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at CIRA, a position to which he was appointed in April 2008.[1] He is the representative for CIRA at CENTR.[2]
Career History
Prior to joining CIRA, Michael was Senior Legal Counsel at Alcatel-Lucent, and its predecessors Alcatel and Newbridge, for a number of years. In this capacity, he was responsible for legal matters relating to the company’s global Internet Protocol Division, as well as for those related to AT&T, one of the company's largest customers.[3]
Education
Stewart received a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University.[4]
