Generic names cannot be accepted, as they are reserved for services of common interest by International DJ in order to provide a non-controversial, clear, simple, and easy way to memorize them.
To prevent naming conflicts, domain name registration is subject to prior approval.[2]
Marketing[edit | edit source]
.dj's marketing is mainly directed toward music besides the use for Djibouti, considering that DJ is commonly used for "disc jockeys". The official website also suggests the use for "data journals".[2]
