Thorsten Einig is Managing Director, Europe at Tucows/OpenSRS.[1] He is responsible for maintaining and developing existing customer relationships and working for more growth of OpenSRS in Europe.[2]

Education

Einig holds a B.A in History and English from the University of Heidelberg, M.Ed. in Education from Carthage College and MA in American history from University of Cologne.[3]

Career History

He worked as a Senior Product Manager at Leaseweb B.V. for 2 year from 2008 to 201O managing server, virtualization products and the company website.[4] Prior to that, he was the Business Development Manager for North America at 1&1 Internet, Inc. He also worked as a Senior Product Manager at 1&1 Internet AG for 9 months.[5]

From 2000-2006, he was the Product and Business Development Manager at 1&1 Internet AG and managed their domains, introduced and managed SSL Certificates and was in charge of domain reselling product Schlund Technologies. From 1997-2000, he was the International Project Manager at City of Cologne.[6]
