Hans Petter Holen has been on the Address council since its formation and has been re-elected by the RIPE community to take the vacant seat on the Number Resource Organization (NRO) Number Council action as the ASO Address Council, and he will thus serve a three-year term that runs from January 2011 to December 2014.[2]

Lives at Strømmen, just outside Oslo in Norway. Violist at University of Oslo Symphony Orchestra[4] and plays the fiddle for folk-dancing.
