Mohammad Abdul Awal works for BdREN which is the National Research and Education Network of Bangladesh. He is the coordinator of Bangladesh Youth Internet Governance Forum (bdYIGF) and is one of the chapter leaders of Internet Society Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter.
Awal is a Multi-stakeholder Steering Group (MSG) member of Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF). He actively participates in local and regional Internet Governance dialogues. He is actively involved with Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG).
