Lesley Cowley is the Chief Executive at Nominet UK and the Chair of ICANN's ccNSO Council. Her tenure as a councilor is to last from March 2010 until March 2013.[1]

Professional Experience and ICANN

Lesley Cowley has been the Chief Executive at Nominet since 2002. Her responsibilities involve leading Nominet and implementing core strategies.[2]

Nominet is the non-profit domain registry for the .uk ccTLD, and acts in the interest of all 3,000+ .uk stakeholders. [3] The company has a long standing commitment to being a leader in Internet governance. As part of this commitment, Lesley Cowley has been a member of the Country Code Names Supporting Organisation at ICANN since 2007, and was appointed its Chair in 2011.
