Frank Fowlie is the first Ombudsman at ICANN, a position he held from 2004 until 2011.[1] He is also the Director of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada,[2] and has previously served as the Chairman of the International Forum on Online Dispute Resolution, as well as been employed by the United Nations.

Mr. Fowlie has been involved with a number of personal disputes, including with Air Canada and the domainer, George Kirikos; those disputes are outlined here.

Education

Fowlie completed his Doctorate from La Trobe University in 2008.[3]

He has also taken training as a Negotiation Instructor from Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation.[4]
