Ms. Szlak joined the ICANN community as a two-time [[ICANN Fellow]], at [[ICANN 39]] in Cartagena and [[ICANN 43]] in Costa Rica. She has gone on to become the Community lead for the Newcomer's Lounge, which is a dedicated area for first-time ICANN attendees to meet one another and the rest of the community. She first began her role in the Newcomer Lounge at [[ICANN 44]] in Prague, and has continued since then.
