.gift is a proposed top level domain name to the New gTLD Program of ICANN. It was originally applied for by both Famous Four Media and Uniregistry though the former withdrew in August 2013, presumably after some sort of private deal.[1]

Contract Signed

On 17 Oct 2013 Uniregistry received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .gift after passing the Initial Evaluation.[2]
