Born in a small town Tamluk, West Bengal and brought up in Visakhapatnam made Manojit a true follower of wanderlust. Brought up in a society of techie's gave him a world of "How can we provide a solution to the problem". Transiting from the Souther Eastern Coast to the Semi-Arid's of Rajasthan to pursue his education at University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, was quite an ordeal in itself and it was an uphill task to adjust to the rigours of hostel life. Nonethless, with a will to preserve and adapt, he immersed himself in activities that would complement his technical education. To augument his capabilities, he took on leadership roles by representing his school at the LIMCA BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS QUIZ COMPETITION and as the Head of Technical Services team at his university.

Right from the beginning of his engineering career he started developing skills by self-learning from various books and MOOC's. He has completed many courses on Art of Programming to Machine Learning and Human Psychology to Economics all from renowned universities around the world. In 2014 he started learning about app development from Microsoft, his desire and quick learning capabilities made him create a Universal Windows Application for his university which provided solution for various issues at his university. The app was ranked 3rd in the Indian Market and 5th in the US market and a 1857 globally in terms of optimized designing. Later in the year he started learning about UX designing and Cloud Computing from Microsoft Virtual Academy and MEC and had earned 16 certification courses from MICROSOFT. He went on extending his support to various open source communities like Mozilla.Later that year he became a "Legacy member of the Microsoft." In the early 2015 he started he started working on a research project based on "Internet of Things" which was accepted by IEEE and was presented at 4th International Conference on Advances in Cloud Computing and Informatics 2015 as a part of the Special Session on Social Computing in Smart Cities. He has also developed many application based on Microsoft .Netframework. He is also one of the foundational members of the OpenStack community and Internet Society.
