Jen Easterly is the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). She was nominated by President Biden in April 2021[1] and unanimously confirmed by the Senate on July 12, 2021.[2]

Career

Easterly worked at Morgan Stanley from 2017 to 2021 in the roles of Head of Firm Resilience, the Fusion Resilience Center, and the Cybersecurity Fusion Center. From 2013 to 2016, she was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism. She worked at the National Security Agency from 2010 to 2013 as an International Security Assistance Force Advisor and then the Deputy Director for Counterterrorism.[3]
