Lira Samykbaeva is the Information Program Coordinator an the Soros Foundation Kyrgyzstan. She is also the first CEO of the Kyrgyz Software and Services Developers Association KSSDA.[1] Now, Lira is working towards the creation of an ISOC Chapter in Kyrgyzstan [2]
In 2005-2010 Lira Samykbaeva managed CIIP's eCenters project in Kyrgyzstan, which aims to bring computer and Internet literacy to rural areas throughout the country.[3]
Ms. Samykbaeva was an ICANN Fellow at the ICANN Silicon Valley, 2011.[4]
