Rachida Jouhari (also Rachida Fakhri) is telecommunication engineer, currently working as a Projects Manager at Morocco's Ministry of Trade, Commerce and New Technologies.[1][2] She is Morocco's representative in ICANN's GAC;[3] as such, she participates in general ICANN meetings, summit sessions, and with the At-Large Structures.[4][5] She also communicates with AfriNIC and AfNOG.[6]

Career History

Rachida is the former President of the Moroccan Association of Civile Society for the Information Society. She worked for France Telecom before returning to Morocco. Ms. Jouhari has also worked on a Moroccan project that provided technical equipment and training to establish multi-media centers in schools.[7]

Ms. Jouhari was elected as a member of board of directors for afriNIC in 2007, and left the board in 2010.[8] [9]
