Scott Donahey is a UDRP country code Panelist for WIPO, CPR, ADNDRC, AAA, HKIAC, CIETAC, and CNNIC.
He decided the first UDRP case, World Wrestling Federation vs. Bosman, WIPO Case No. 1999-0001, and has since decided more than 150 UDRP cases. He is the only panelist from the United States on the panel for .cn.
He was one of the nine nominees for ICANN's Independent Review Panel, the mechanism by which ICANN Board decisions were to be evaluated against the ICANN bylaws. The ICANN bylaws were changed to eliminate the Independent Review Panel. Mr. Donahey frequently represents parties in UDRP proceedings.[1]
He has served as a faculty member of the WIPO Domain Name Seminars held annually in Geneva.
