The Arabic Script IDN Working Group is a self-organized group working for the effective implementation of Internationalized Domain Names, especially those using Arabic script. ASWIG members participate in ICANN, IGF and other internet organizations.[1][2]

Group members communicate through mailing lists and meetings and the group publishes documents and drafts that it creates.[3] First ever conference of ASWIG was held in Dubai on 2nd April, 2008.[4]
