Applicant is a wholly owned subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation,, a premier global provider of satellite operations and digital TV solutions.  Among the many offerings of Applicant and its affiliates are HughesNet®, the market’s #1 high-speed satellite Internet service; Sling Media’s award-winning Sling® technology; and Move Networks™ adaptive bit-rate streaming technology. The Applicant’s EchoStar Satellite Services segment leases satellite capacity on a full-time and occasional-use basis primarily to DISH Network; and to Dish Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., the United States government service providers, state agencies, Internet service providers, broadcast news organizations, programmers, and private enterprise customers. This segment uses its 10 owned and leased in-orbit satellites and related Federal Communications Commission licenses. The Applicant also provides managed services to large enterprises; and networking systems solutions to customers for mobile satellite and wireless backhaul systems.
