.overheidnl is a proposed TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. Overheid means "government" in Dutch, and "nl" is the two letter country code for the Netherlands. The applicant is Ministery of the Interior and Kingdom Relations of the Government of the Netherlands.[1]
The application was withdrawn in March 2013, prior to the release of Initial Evaluation results, when the applicant still qualified for a 70% refund of its $185,000 application fee.[2]
