Aminata Sy is the President of the Senegalese Next Generation Team, which is an extension of the Internet Society's Senegal Chapter and a joint project with the DiploFoundation. She has led the team since 2009, which brings together a group of young people to advocate the use of the Internet and IT solutions by fellow Senegalese youth and students.[1] Ms. Sy is also the Head of the Information and Communication Department within the IT department at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. She is the former head of Multimedia Center at the Polytechnic School in Dakar.[2] Aminata Sy has a Computer Science Engineering background.
