Karen Bernstein is the Principal of Bernstein IP, an intellectual property law firm in New York City. Karen's practice focuses, among other things, on Internet law and New gTLDs.[1] Bernstein IP helped clients apply in the first round of the New gTLD Program and also represented them in contention sets in 2012 before WIPO and the International Centre for Expertise.

Karen served as a Working Group member of the PDP on gTLD Subsequent Procedures, which determined if any changes were needed to be made to the Applicant Guidebook (AGB) that set forth the policies to apply for New gTLDS in the first round. She is also a member of INTA and the Intellectual Property Constituency.
