Sunny Liu is a Volunteer at NetMission, which is an organization that is dedicated to promoting youth participation in Internet governance issues.[1] He was previously affiliated with Netmission as an Ambassador through the DotAsia organization from 2012 to 2013; this involved organizing projects for students on digital inclusion and internet governance, as well as attending ICANN 46 in Beijing.[2]
In 2013, he held a summer internship position with the Hong Kong government, where he was an Administrative Officer who helped gather developing ideas in the "third-party software testing" industry, as well as prepared presentations on the development of the testing and certification industry in Hong Kong.[2]
He has also been involved with ICANN through APRALO.[2]
As of ICANN 50 in London, Liu had attended over two ICANN conferences, and has specific interests in Education, Governance, and Intellectual Property Rights.[1]
