Kartik Kulkarni is a Member of Humanitarian AdHoc Committee at IEEE and the Founder of IEEE's All India Young Engineers' Humanitarian Challenge. Mr. Kulkarni is also a Software Engineer at Novellus Systems,[1] where he has worked since 2009. He attended ICANN Singapore on a NIXI Fellowship.[2]

Career History[edit | edit source]

From 2007-2009, he was an Intern and Campus Ambassador at Sun Microsystems. He has also been the Electronic Communication Chair, Bangalore Section at IEEE and Chairman, BVBCET Student Chapter at IEEE. He is the Founder of Software Freedom Week, an initiative to help NGOs & Government bodies of the North Karnataka area in embracing the Open Source Software.[3]

  • IEEE Distinguished Student Humanitarian 2009
  • Tata Consultancy Services Gold Medal for Best Engineering Student 2009.
  • Sir M Visveswaraya Medal for Best Engineering Student, 2009[4]

He holds a Bachelor in Engineering, Electronics and Communications from the B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology.
