Mohammad Abdul Awal is a network professional, working for BdREN which is the National Research and Education Network of Bangladesh. There he leads the data and transmission network team. Over the past few years, he conducted several network workshops and tutorials at APRICOT, SANOG and bdNOG covering topics such as campus network design and operations, advanced BGP, MPLS, IPv6, network monitoring and management and network infrastructure security.
