==ICANN Involvement==

Dr. Vivekanan is actively involved in the different activities of ICANN. In 2008, he was elected as the [[ALAC]] member from the Asia Pacific Region. After his term in 2010, he was selected by ALAC to serve as member of ICANN's NomCom until 2010. He also participated during the Internet Governance Forum ([[IGF]]) which was held Hyderabad in 2008.
