Gustavo Paiva is a Law student at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). He is one of the founders of the Grupo de Estudos de Direito da Internet (GEDI), UFRN's only institutionalized Internet Governance group. He participated in ICANN's NextGen program during ICANN62 in Panama.
Paiva is a member of Brazil's Attorney's Order Commission on Law and IT under the Rio Grande do Norte chapter, and is a professor of Internet Governance and Law in their Super School of Advocacy.
His main topic of research is anonymity on the Internet and its protection under Brazil's Constitutional Law.
Has attended the Brazilian IGF on 2015, and the International IGF on João Pessoa and Guadalajara.
